SEAN TRAINED AS AN ACTOR, singer and dancer in London and is one of the first Malaysians to feature on both the international stage and screen. After making his film debut in Twentieth Century Fox’s ‘Anna and the King’ starring Jodie Foster and Chow Yun Fatt, he then pulled off a remarkable coup by reprising his role on-stage in the London West End revival of the musical ‘The King and I’ with Elaine Paige and Jason Scott Lee.

Other previous West End leading roles include ‘Thuy’ in ‘Miss Saigon’ and ‘Angel’ in Jonathan Larson’s smash hit, ‘RENT’ – roles he has also performed in Germany, completely in German! Sean was also featured in the showbiz extravaganza Hey, Mr. Producer! starring such luminaries as Julie Andrews, Judi Dench & Hugh Jackman at the London Lyceum Theatre which was subsequently broadcast on the PBS network in the United States.

Sean’s album recordings so far include the cast albums of ‘Hey, Mr. Producer!’, ‘A Twist of Fate’ for the Singapore Repertory Theatre, the German cast recordings of ‘Miss Saigon’ and ‘RENT’, as well as the epic London 2000 recording of ‘The King and I’ which was recorded ‘live’ with a 70 piece orchestra at the renowned Abbey Road Studios in London.

Since returning from London in 2001, Sean appeared in Jit Murad’s ‘Spilt Gravy on Rice’ among other local productions. His numerous singing engagements range from performances at No Black Tie to large scale concerts – ‘Konsert Kasih’ at Istana Budaya in aid of tsunami victims, and a special performance at the recent ‘Anugerah Era 2006’. Following the outstanding reception to his award winning revue entitled ‘I Have Dreamed – An Evening with Sean Ghazi’ in 2004, Sean has been busy producing and recordingSEMALAM’.
